Anyway, Carly got THIS adorable lap desk for her birthday and she loves it! She uses it all the time and it was an absolute lifesaver on our trip to Tennesee.
So I thought it would be a perfect gift for her friend Lucy's birthday, but when I called the toy store that sells them, the wait was much too long for our needs. Then I saw a similar lap desk in a store in town and thought it might be fun to try and make it myself...and I think it turned out pretty cute! Kylie's getting one next week, so I'm going to work on getting that name a tiny bit bigger, but Lucy liked it anyway...and it was so fun to make!
