Only Us

This is Paul and Carly on the side of the road. Stuff like this ONLY happens to me, and by extension, the rest of my family. We forgot/didn't realize that Nicholson turns into a one-way street after home football games and there was literally no way for us to drive home from our family dinner out without sitting in a lot more traffic than our starving exhausted baby girl would be able to handle. So, we parked Herbie at the nearest intersection and walked on the side of the road all the way back to our house. We were fortunate that 1) it's only about half a mile and 2) it was a nice night.
We did look like a bunch of refugees, though.
At dinner: Carly loves bubbly juice.
And Bree has almost found her thumb!
For the past week or so, Bree and I have had a sleeping project and so far it's going very well. She went to sleep with no crying tonight and we're almost there in the afternoons. Timing is sort of an issue in the morning with Carly's school schedule, but we're working it out. The first couple of days of our project, Bree worked so hard chewing on her hand that her tiny little knuckes were all red! Poor baby - but she is much happier now that she's getting all of her sleep. =)
