False Alarm Field Trip

As I was walking in the door from dropping Carly off at school, her teacher called and said Carly was crying about a tummyache and there's a bug going around the classroom. So, I had a forty minute panic attack the whole way back to the school and back to our house until we discovered that she didn't have the plague (knock on wood! Really - do it!), she only needed to use the restroom. Once she did, the drama was over and we went to the zoo.
**
Obviously, she was just fine. Balancing on the parking lot curb.
You wouldn't believe me if I told you what these elephants' names are. But whatever, they were scaring me backing right up to the edge of the ditch.
See? It was so close to the edge and the big one was swaying back and forth. Carly was getting really worried that the elephant was about to fall in, so we had to leave and go pet some goats.
On our way out, we stopped by to see our favorite zoo friend, and I guess he recognized us, because he wanted to shake my hand.
Yeah...no, thanks.
Then we rode the train! Carly was super bacited and Bree had fun on her first train ride. The weather was perfect and really it was a great trip...even though it was the third time in two weeks. There aren't millions of things to do here like in San Diego, but the things that are here are fun for us. =)

Carly and I most have eaten the same thing yesterday because I was having major tummy issues all day too (my didn't end though).

I'm glad that she felt better and that you could have a fun day at the zoo...looks like it was just you guys on the train!!! :)
