I really shouldn't be allowed to go to Target without supervision, even though I did make a highly exciting and earth-shattering discovery today: our nontoxic yummy-smelling laundry soap is $2 cheaper at Target than at Whole Foods. I know it's big news, and it's okay if you need to catch your breath after that. But really, that place is just bad for me, especially when they put out their new play clothes for kids....this outfit cost $8. I mean, why wouldn't I buy it? I know, I can't think of any good reasons either.

She's getting the mail, probably her very favorite job to do each day.

Okay I don't know what this thing was, some kind of motorized parachute I think, but whatever it was, I want to do that. Carly, too.

She was waving to it while riding this tricycle which is waaay to small for her.

Then after dinner...okay, a couple of nights ago we had fun dyeing these noodles (just put 1/2 a cup of rubbing alcohol and some food coloring in a gallon Ziploc and shake then dry on newspaper) with the plan to start working on patterns, an early reading and math skill. Well...you can see how interested Carly was in patterns!

She matched up the second half of the noodles in the foreground, but had
way more fun making monster hands with monster sound effects and making music by clicking the noodles together.

She wanted to know if the camera can see through noodles....answer: yes!

Then Carly had the camera and we took funny Flat Larry photos. You probably wouldn't believe me if I told you that this was the most of my face that showed up in the pictures, and that's okay because it wouldn't be true. It's nice to be the one who chooses the photos, especially when there is no makeup involved. =)
