So...once the awesome and wonderful love-of-my-decorating-live duvet set was ruled out, I'm striking out everywhere. I have looked at:
Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Linens 'n' Things, Crate and Barrel, Pier One, Dillard's, Nordstrom, Macy's, Anna's Linens, West Elm, Anthropologie, Restoration Hardware, World Market, and Overstock (dot) com....and I can't think of anywhere else for 'good' linens.
Not that Target would really count for a place to supply 'good' linens, but I love Target and I'd hate for Target to feel left out.
Any suggestions?
Because it really matters. With everything going on in the world, the fact that it is ending and all...I need to find a good duvet cover with a pattern, but not stripes, with a hint of fuschia and some tan or slate blue. And white. Not that I'm picky (ha)...which is probably why I can't find what I want.

Also, Ikea. Believe it or not, their Duvet covers are pretty nice- and SUPER cheap. You could buy 4 for the price of one, and alternate weekly! :)

finelinens.com is a good place to start. Also, you might consider searching for irish linens, because they're always the best! I have bought things through dan river, too.

OK ... so you don't know me ... well you might, kind of ... my name is Amber and you helped Maria paint a welcome home sign for my sister (thanks a million by the way, she LOVED it!!). Anywho ... I've been a blog stalker of yours for a while now and thought that I would finally come out of the virtual closet!! The reason?? This post. I had a similar problem finding decent bedding after I painted our bedroom walls red (sounds strange but looks great!!). So, back to the point. Kohl's ... you should try there. They have some wonderful bedding at great prices. I actually had to settle on a duvet set since I couldn't find anything that went with our wall color. With that I will end the longest comment ever ... I hope you don't think I am weird!! Good luck!
Another thought.... try Marshalls. They get brand name close outs and the stock is always different. It might be worth a shot.
Try Kohls. Seriously, nothing at Bed bath and beyond? I found some awesome stuff there! Even in the blue/brown family...that I'm trying to persuade Pete we really need.
