The weather has been really pretty this week, and Carly asked if we could have a picnic...she called it a pick-a-nick-a...so we did! We pulled out our outside blanket and had our lunch in the spot of Carly's choosing, which happened to be in the very middle of our front yard.

The sun was so bright! You can't really tell in this photo, but Carly gets crazy dirty at school. She has a great time on the playground, and it shows!
And then we had to go back inside...she was fussy, but she didn't really mean it. We're working very hard on sleep in our house, and she didn't get much sleep during her first nap period, mostly because she was really upset that I put her in her crib. After lunch, she did fall asleep for at least half an hour in the crib, which is HUGE progress for us. Now, both girls are sleeping so I'm going to tackle the laundry monster that is threatening to take over our house. =)

I am right there with you on trying to get my sweet little girl to nap in her crib. We have no problem at night but during the day as soon as I put her in the crib, even if she is sound asleep, she wakes up immediately. Good Luck!
