This morning when Miss Marguerite (another teacher at Carly's school) came to help Carly out of the car, Bree was yelling because she hates to be in her carseat and she hates to be sleepy when no one is holding her, and both of those horrible things were happening to her at the same time.
Miss Marguerite said, "Oh, listen to that beautiful music she's making" meaning the yelling. Based on the look on Carly's face, she and I were thinking about the same thing. Before either one of us could ask sweet Miss Marguerite if she was high or just out of her mind, one of the teachers from Carly's classroom walked over and said, "Oh, what beautiful music!" She had to raise her voice to be heard over the yelling from my tiny baby.
The look on Carly's face was priceless. She was just staring at these lovely women and finally she shook her head a little, as if to clear it, and said, "No that is NOT music. She. Is. Cry-ing." Very slowly to make sure there was no misunderstanding.

I heart Carly. Really. I do hope we meet in Quantico 2011!
