Just Another Manic Monday

Bree has a stuffy nose - poor baby hardly slept at all last night - and I was really worried about her, so we made an appointment to see her doctor. Firs of all, the baby weighs twelve pounds! We love our little chubby babies! And most important, there is no sign of infection in her ears or lungs, it's just a cold she picked up from Carly and we'll keep an eye on it and she should be fine. Our wonderful pediatrician saw us in the office and made room in her schedule to see us, even though our appointment was with the P.A...that made me feel tons better. She showed me the correct way to use that yuck-o ball syringe and gave us some comforting advice about baby sleep.

We went straight from that appointment to drop Carly off at a sitter and Bree and I went back to the same office for my appointment. All is well and I'm cleared to work out as much as I want. The nurse who checked me in said she was surprised that I weighed as much as I do, which I took as a compliment...that's how she meant it, and if I look skinnier than I actually am - that can't be bad, right?

Carly was hanging out with one of the families from our playgroup, so Bree and I went straight from my appt to meet them and some other families from the group at Izzo's Illegal Burrito (sort of like Chipotle, with a bigger menu). Mondays are their kids' night; they have a clown come in who does face paint (as you'll see) and makes balloon animals...of Carly had a b-l-a-s-t. I'm just glad tomorrow is Tuesday and there is nothing going on but primtime premiers.

This is Bree's cool new playmat! Thanks to the Minors and the Santopietros for this! Bree is, obviously, very impressed. She played for a few minutes when we got home from taking Carly to school, and then she passed right out. Do you notice how there are NO flashing lights or things that make noise??? We had to pay alot more to get it that way, but I think it's super! And the colors are totally cute.

Sweet little jellybean. When she's awake, she really likes seeing the mirror.
