This morning, we went out to explore...mostly we just got in the car to enjoy some AC because it was getting really hot in the house...plus Herbie needed a little fuel while there is still fuel to be had. We ended up waiting well over an hour - but not for the gas pumps themselves - the traffic was for people going to Wal-Mart. The Sam's and Lowe's parking lots on either side were almost empty, but people were waiting to get in the actual Wal-Mart parking lot. I know. So anyway, once we got through all of that, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the gas price had only gone up two cents! And Carly was SO good and patient!
About halfway through our waiting...see that little x-ed out phone? I'm not calling you because I can't...not because I don't want to! =)
According to Bree, having no power and being hot and sweaty is no excuse to not look your cutest.
Right after we got home from our adventure, Daddy came home with his AWESOME news! I was excited to see the sign for a pool while we were in the lobby....but that back when I thought the pool was inside...instead of right outside our window! I'm thinking we won't be swimming this week. =)
So...Bree is sleeping so well, poor little thing. She's been having a hard time settling down in the hotness at our house, so she's due for a nice cozy nap. We have the AC cranked to 65 and we're loving every freezing second.

that's AWESOME that you got hooked up with a hotel! so glad that you have internet, too!! most of all glad that you are all safe and didn't get blown away!!!
