Putting faces to names: this is my beautiful friend Amy and sweet baby Simon! It was SO wonderful to get to meet Simon and hang out a bit with them in San Angelo!

Storytime with Beeda
The weather was sooo perfect! It was around 75, with 15% humidity (this is a BIG DEAL for us nowadays, seeing as how it was about 95% humidity in New Orleans this morning!), so we went to play in the backyard.
When sweet baby Simon woke up from his nap, he came to play, too! He's actually counting the leaves on the tree in this photo, and identifying the three species of birds who are nesting in it.

Straining during his reps...this isn't a mad face, it's a working-out face! He chattered to us the whole time he was outside.

Climbing on Mommy like a little monkey
This was taken around midnight or so...we were so tired! But it was so nice to hang out and watch a romantic movie and have yummy snacks and talk and talk and talk...just like a million years ago when we all lived in Cowtown and we'd camp out on Amy's flowery couch for HOURS. We all hate this photo for different reasons...but at least no one's eyes are closed.

ok I DO NOT DESERVE SUCH AMAZING FRIENDS. You know your friends love you when they drive 3.5 hrs-while one is pregnant- through the desert-with a 2 yr old-and then when they get there they don't complain that they don't even have a bed to sleep in. not that a bed would've served much purpose since it is tradition to NOT SLEEP when we are together. Words can't express what yall did for this momma's soul yesterday and today. There just aren't any. Love!!!
AWWWW..... warm fuzzies!! I actually have GOOS BUMPS!! YOu are all so cute!! I am SOO glad you all are getting some love- in every aspect- AMy with Simon, Amanda with BOTH girls- and Liz, with ALL of Texas, and besties!!!!!
