EARLY Adventures

A couple of weeks ago, we found another park on base while we were taking a family walk, but it's usually full of older kids (With no parents in sight! That drives me more crazy than it should.) and last night when we stopped by, one sweet boy stopped the whole game they had going on so that Carly could go down the slide. We decided that early in the morning might be a better time to visit - and we were right! We got there at about 7:45, before the slides got hot and before normal people are out of pajamas, much less swarming one halfway decent playground on our base! Carly was WAY excited...can you tell?
Thanks to Auntie Anna! Carly LOVES her fun new outfits and Daddy loves that she has her very first pair of Nike mesh shorts! We had to include this photo because she was a mess by the time we left. =)
Mercifully empty! It is such a fun play structure!
Carly, with the breakfast of champions: one of Daddy's Cliff Bars. She's sitting down right now with some real food, but you can't be picky when you have to leave the house at 7:20 in order to get to the park sometime before the temperature gets above 80!
What a pretty bright blue sky! Sadly for us, no clouds equals a HOT day! It's a good thing the pool is open now!
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. These water bottles came from Paul's office and they are Carly's favorite way to tote her rain juice.
She went up and down this slide about fifty times, no kidding.
High steppin' in the 'spiderweb.' It's just a tiny bit worn, but I really don't think the kids even notice.
And, of course. It wouldn't be an outside adventure with Carly if there were no drama with the footwear.
