The Adventures of Super Carly

Carly's new favorite show in the morning is called Super Why; it's about this little boy who solves problems with his team, the Super Readers...and it's on PBS, so it's definitely Mommy-approved. Anyway, Super Why wears a cape and this morning, Super Carly wanted to wear a cape to have coffee with our neighbors.

Playing with Kylie...they would sit back on their knees and then pitch forward face-first onto this pillow, laughing hysterically.
Later, with the tissues, gathering up a dead love bug from Miss Karen's floor.

And, because I know you've been missing seeing photos of other people's beautiful children on this page, here is Kylie! She is exactly one year younger than Carly...so cute!

And the sweet baby Tyler. He's just so chubby and perfect - Calry kept calling him Baby Simon, though. =)

Where we have our overcrowded dining area, Miss Karen has set up a sitting area -it's really nice and the sunlight this morning was so pretty. The girls had a great time playing with the corks and Tyler wanted to get in on the action.

Mmmm...mangoes.

Okay and THIS photo was taken about fifteen minutes ago. Look closely at the right-hand corner of Carly's mouth. That is a wad of spinach. She got it all off her plate and so got some ice cream for "berserk" but, as she soon discovered, ice cream and spinach is a yucky combination. So she sat there perfectly happy to let the ice cream melt while she sang the Little Einsteins song and told me all about elephants and monkeys and what happens with the scratchy monster when he gets tired and falls asleep under her bed at night. And she is, at this very moment, sitting beside me singing through the Philadelphia Chickens book...with that disgusting wad of chewed-up spinach STILL tucked into the side of her mouth like a wad of dip.
