Perfect weather! Cute as a button little town, ALL decked out for the festival. There were carnival-like games along the side streets (alongside 50 food vendors - Dad you would have LOVED it!!!), and those barfy rides in the center of the town square. Carly played the grab-a-duckie game first!

And she won a shark that is taller than she is! She carried that guy around for an hour!

Then Daddy put his many hours of basketball practice to good use...

...and won her the LAST Curious George. It is enormous, and was the envy of all the kids at the festival.

I really did try to crop this woman out of the photo, because I'm sure she'd hate this picture of herself, but Blogger isn't cooperating...Carly got a little strawberry on her cheek. =)

With her strawberry clips in her messy hair!

There were several sections of vendors, too...the wind picke up a little bit and it was so loud in the windchime tent!

Enjoying her yummy strawberry smoothie from Paul's Cafe! And finally, there is the facepaint strawberry!

George had one too many daquiries. =)

Carly saw a bug, so Daddy squished it.

Then Carly REALLY squished it!!! I was laughing so hard I thought I was going to wet my pants.

Is it dead? Uh, yeah...I think it is!

Back at home, getting ready to dig into the six pounds of boiled crawfish we brought home! We had a great Louisiana late lunch...crawfish, Ponchatoula strawberries, Paul had his Abita Restoration Ale and Carly and I had "sweet" tea. It was so yummy.
