We were rained out of our original plan to go to the Strawberry Festival today, so Carly dressed for it anyway, and we headed off to an awesome adventure. I think it's great that I have a girl...soon to be girls...so that we can do fun days like this forever. Note the Star-bocks cup in the background...that was Stop #1. =)
Then it was onto the Posh Paint Pot for some artistic fun...Carly had a good time sponge-painting her alphabet plate. We can't wait until it's all fired up and ready to go!
Then Mommy "helped' with the letters around the edge - they are actually raised all around the edge, but the sponge-paint made it sort of hard to see them...I hope it turns out well!
From painting, we went to the most adorable boutique (the websit is www.littlemissmuffin.biz For some reason I can't embed the link.) and found THIS pretty mermaid dress!

Closeup of the smocked front! Carly looks like she knows a secret...maybe she snuck a peek at the price tag...and we've decided that Mommy needs a sewing machine. =)
