Foster Park - Wednesday Morning

We wanted to stay close to Beeda's house today (and out of the car as much as possible!) so we headed out to this cute little neighborhood park down the road, and then to lunch. It was so beautiful this morning, the perfect temperature, low humidity - we were loving it!

We feed ducks all the time...and I'm not sure how many pictures you really need of Carly throwing bread at water fowl...but THESE GEESE were nuts! I took this photo right after the one on the left snatched that half a hot dog bun right out of Carly's hand.

After they ate, these three sat on the bank of the river honking at each other like a bunch of old ladies.

The wind-up

This was a great little park with trees and a creek and a walking trail. Carly had a really good time climbing around on the stuff. This is at the top of a very challenging ladder -but she did it all by Carly-self!
Swiiiing

Until she saw the rocks - any pile of rocks must be climbed. There is no option.
Hey look! It's the house where I used to live! When I lived there it was bright white with dark green trim and the plants were smaller...but this was it! I really loved that house.
And then, of course, Central Market. Amy called last night and knew right away where we were going. Paul called while we were there and knew right away where we were. =)
It is just as fabulous and wonderful as I remembered, in case you were wondering. Whole Foods has nothing on Central Market.
Carly, enjoying her super yummy quesadilla, her bubbly juice (they have Jones sugar-free cream soda! Yay!)...
...and stuffing her face with wilted spinach...

I didn't get photos of the playground because there were lots of big kids and I was hovering over Carly making sure she didn't get accidentally run over by one of them...but never fear, we'll be back before we go home and we'll make sure to go BEFORE the kindergarten class at the swank school down the road gets out for the day.

It took me a long time to recognize the house. Looks really different. I honestly can't remember the last time I was there.
