We stayed in today because Carly has a little cold. She's been sniffly and coughing all day, and I don't think it's very nice - I actually think it makes the list of Top 10 Rude Parent Habits - to bring a sick kid to a playground or a museum or any other touchy place where germs can be shared.
...SO we've been reading ALL of her books (as in, every last one of them) and doing ALL of her puzzles, painting, coloring with chalk, dancing to the music channels on TV...pretty much an awesome day for Carly!
Anyway, we also have a small mountain of laundry to get through, so I've been busy, too. She has a pretty wretched cough and I've been asking her if she's okay every time she starts hacking away. Just now, I was in the other room and sneezed and she shouts "Mom?! Are you OKAY?" from her playroom.
...or what used to be the playroom. It is now a disaster area, and I'm contemplating applying for some federal funding to help with the clean-up, seriously.
We're hoping she feels better tomorrow so we can resume our schedule. If not, we'll come up with some other non-germ-sharing fun things to do, and we'll keep you posted because I KNOW you are waiting on pins and needles. =)

I agree. I hate when parents bring sick kids with them to play places. When Ryan is sick we hunker down at home, usually longer than required because I would hate to be responsible for getting another kid sick. But hey, thats just me!!!
Feel better Carly!
Love,
Beeda=)
