Carly Do It Carly-Self!

At our house, we have upstairs clothes - cozy clothes for naps and pj's for nighttime - and downstairs clothes. Carly came up with this system herself, and the two do NOT cross over. It actually works out great for me, because when I think some playclothes need to be retired, I'll just put them away in the "upstairs clothes" drawer, and there are no issues about whether to wear the stained cupcake shirt to the mall.

Part of our morning routine is that Carly will take off her pj's and put them in her hamper - NOT Mommy's hamper!!! - and then we get her dressed for the day. But this morning, I moved my car out of Paul's way during the time we normally get her dressed and I came back inside to see this!

What a big girl! Carly got herself dressed this morning!!!

She was pretty excited about it, too. =)
