Please Forgive Us! =)

We wanted to take advantage of the nice weather before the rain started, so after we read books and played "Pocket full of posies" in the backyard for a while, we decided to start pulling all the yucky weeds out of the front garden. Carly helped for about three seconds. =)

I think this picture is very artsy on accident.
One of Carly's favorite things to do is to run from that tree to our front door. She has more fun when it's with her friend Laura who is a very fast runner, but it's still fun alone.
Looking for the giraffes and she got caught up in the bushes!
She was hiding behind my back...this one looks a little creepy because it only shows her bottom eyelids! She had chalk on her face and all over her clothes!
Then, our shipment from Old Navy came in! Mommy is a big fan of clothes that cost $3.99, especially when they usually get wrecked after one meal or art session. I'm in love with this tunic and I can't WAIT to find some loud leggings for her to wear it with.
And this beautiful shirt (hello, also $3.99) is just the right color for the pink (ahem, $3.99) shorts from Target! Woohoo!
And the dance...this is Carly's new way to entertain herself - and everyone else - when she's waiting in line or at the tax place or anywhere. She makes up songs about what she sees and does this little Vogue-like posing dance in circles. It's SO funny!
Silly Carly again with these great yellow capris! They are supercozy (and...you know..$3.99)!!!
