| But we do have some and as soon as we get to a computer with a place for a photo card I promise we'll put them up! Right now, Carly is taking a nap (in the middle room, if you know Granny's house), Paul is off running and there are some very nice smells of crawfish etouffe coming from the kitchen. We had a great time in San Antonio and in Boerne ("Bernie") with Aunt Janet, Uncle John, Jeffrey, John Micheal and Joseph...aka Jananent, Uckah John, Jeffwee, Jo-Micah and JoJo and the guinea pig, Twinkie. We also had some amazing food - along with about twelve pounds of grilled chicken and sausage, there were real green beens (with real bacon - yummm!) and lots of other stuff. Then some eggy-bakey in the morning and we hit the road. The drive to Welsh (it's about 50 miles from the TX/LA border on I-10) was fine and we are SO glad to be here! Carly had such a fun time with her cousin Skylar last night, who, even though she's all grown up and in kindergarten, ran and laughed with Carly until the both of them were ready to pass out. We're going to go play in the great big backyard this afternoon - we wish all our California friends could come and run around with us, there are lots of trees to hide behind and even a big wagon - and then head out tomorrow around lunchtime. Because we're not sure whether we'll ever actually see our stuff again (the driver just told Paul that Friday is no longer the latest date, it's Monday at the earliest), we're not really sure what our itinerary is going to be. We'll keep looking for a place to plug in our memory card and we'll keep updating as things change. For the next day or so, we'll just be walking around Welsh and eating lots of good, home-cooked Cajun food. We wish you could be here with us - and if you could smell what I can smell (thankfully my little lima bean is letting me feel MUCH better!), you'd wish you were here, too. =) |

Good fun...yes! Travel safely.
You have some relatives on the way to Baton Rouge. There's Claire and your Aunt Sarah and Uncle Dennis. I can't remember where Joy is but I think she might be close. Too bad about your stuff but maybe it's good to just hang out for a while. Things will get really busy really soon.
Awww... I wish I could smell what you are smelling!!! ME= JEALOUS!!! Eat some hushpuppies for me! :) (I think that is what they are called!)
MMM, I wish I was there to eat Granny's food AND play in the sun. It's waaaay cold here! Brrrrr. Can't wait to see some photos!
