We went to the New Orleans Aquarium of the Americas today and it was AMAZING!!! Unfortunately for me, these computers are NOT amazing...I think it's the network. When I first got here, I was the only person on a computer and now there are five others and Blogger is not even opening the add photo page...so we'll add the other shots later.

Anyway, we had a GREAT TIME!!! We were at the aquarium for about two hours because it goes on and on...this is Paul and Carly checking out Nemo in his "amen-meano-nemo-knee."

Volunteers have little rolling carts with wildlife from the different areas on display. We happened to be in the Mississippi River part and Carly spent a long time with the raccoon, beaver and otter pelts. It was kind of gross, but she liked to squeeze the noses and wiggle her fingers through the eye holes. =)

Another blurry shot...sorry...this is at the fountain on our way out.

Where we stopped for lunch! OMG! I had the best gumbo ever and Paul had a grilled crawfish po-boy. OMG. This is a great time to be pregnant, I tell you what.

Maggie has the same little penguin shirt - so cute! Glad you all are getting some family time and checking out the new town.
The aquarium looks fun. There is one here in DC but it's REALLY small. My kids, of course, still love it. They love anyplace they can go run and see something new. One of their fav pastimes is going to open houses - nuts!
This looks like a really fun day. I notice there are no jackets or hats or mittens. Here, it's about 5 degrees and windy and has been snowing since before the sun came up. Did you say there's plenty of room at your house????
