For anyone who is not from, or hasn't ever driven in, Louisiana, you wouldn't believe how stinking long this bridge is. Twenty something miles! It's crazy!
Our first view of our temporary home! The weather was kind of bad, cold and windy with rain, but it is just SO nice to be here!
Touristy and completely unsafe: I snapped a photo of the Superdome (as in THE Superdome) as we passed, right before Paul took us on a tour of the most terrifying neighborhood in the city, complete with a homeless-people city of tents that ran for half a mile under the highway. Spooky! Don't worry: I am NOT going to go exploring until I know where I am.

So sad. There, of course, have always been "scary" parts of N.O. but b/c of Katrina it is REALLY bad now.
On the upside your house is cute. Can't be as bad inside as Del Mar was! Remind me again where you go in 6 months?
