We went out to the King of Prussia mall to visit Santa because we heard that theirs is the best...um...I mean, we heard that the one and only Santa Claus likes that mall the best because the tree is so beautiful...that's right...it's the tree.

Carly wore her pretty new shirt from Aunt Diane and Uncle Mace.

When Santa (the one and only, of course) got through feeding his reindeer, he came through the line to speak to all the kids waiting for him. Carly and I both think that his jingling boots are pretty nifty.

Waiting very impatiently for "Carly's turn!"

How many times have you heard this story?
But it's so funny!!! We all keep telling Carly that she has to ask Santa for what she wants for Christmas - I never thought to tell her about the being good part or the elves part or the North Pole part...so Carly got straight to the point.
She didn't let the man get one word out of his mouth before grabbing his hand with both of hers and saying VERY seriously, "I want Gordon."

I love this one! She was very anxious to know whether he understood her and she watched the other kids telling Santa what their names were and yes, they had been very good this year. She must have told Paul and me three more times that she told Santa what she wanted for Christmas. She still yelled it over the balcony as we were leaving.

Slightly hesitant - she had no idea what to do about the photographer. All our poor misinformed little bean knew was that this guy with the cool jingly boots was the one to talk to about seeing some Thomas and his friends under the tree.
