Pumpkins Part One

We originally had plans to visit Bate's Nut Farm (I've been mixing it up and calling it Nate's Butt Farm all day...and wishing there were a ten year old boy around to appreciate it.) but then we cancelled because the weather was yucky and everyone in our group has a cold or a kiddo with a cold.
*
But THEN when the weather was nice, I got the awesome idea to go anyway after our long appointment this afternoon. Now, had I known that BNF is located in a suburb of Houston, Texas, I might not have dared to make the trip (way the heck) out there at 3pm with a sniffling toddler and then proceed to get lost and drive around aimlessly while fake-cursing the Starbucks barista and her crappy directions.
*
We did finally get there about ten minutes before the placed closed down for the night and we did manage to find our "puh-kinzes" and Carly did get to assault a Spongebob scarecrow so I guess all was not lost. We're just really looking forward to a leisurely trip with our friends.
"RAWR I'b a puh-kinzes budster"
(Carly with a cold...she's a pumpkin monster.) She sort of looks like a monster with her red eyes and puffy face and her crazy chicken hair that once held two very cute ponytails.

Carly found her pumpkin. When you know, you know.
You have to give a hug to Ha-Bob!

With her dirty bottom from sitting in the wheelbarrow!
She was trying to fix Patrick's overalls. =)

Poor Carly - little circles under her eyes. Hope she's better today. Ha-Bob? I love Ha-Bob!
