We Heart Listos!

Our beloved Listos! This week's theme was all about helpers. There were lots of dolls of firefighters and police officers and doctors, as well as an classic Little People airport set, a grocer store, some dolls to fix up with bandaids...it was great! As usual!
Marina and Andy had fun saying hi to the fishies in the main room.
Then Marina and I strung and un-strung some beads.
She's such a good focus-er
Carly had some crazy chicken hair today, I'll tell you what.
She really liked the beads, too, even though it was kind of hard for her to figure out how it worked.
BUT she LOVED the groovy grocery store area! She'd shut the door on the register and Andy would reach over and push the button to make it POP open!
We are so funny!
Wia! Andy is SO FUNNY!
In the next post, watch for Andy on the video. He is so focused on figuring out what makes the drawer go in and out that he pays no attention to the girls buzzing all around him.
Hahahaha, except the one part where he realized I had a camera and he just moved his face right in front of me! What a funny boy!
The (sweet) Baby Matt talked to us all morning. He also talked to his mama every hour of last night, and we're all in amazement that she's managed to remain conscious through her fog of sleep-deprivation.
I cannot say enough good things about this place! They had a tray of random bits of cloth, foam, glittery stuff, paper, yarn...all kinds of things for the kids to glue onto paper. It was so creative and fun.
Marina really got into organizing all her bits by size. I'm telling you, she's smarter than the average bear.
One of the rare moments of peaceful side-by-side play. Marina is huge next to Carly and I must say: Cutest Sweats EVER, right? I know. Due to the nature of Carly's dad's job, I wouldn't think those pants would be very cute on her, but Marina's dad is an accountant, so she's good to go with the pink cami. =)
Carly figuring out the astronaut. She took his helmet off and then put it back on so he could breathe in the sky.
TBM, passed right out.
Okay, the pictures are all off to the side, but whatever. When Andy first came across the sand table, he tried to fill up this truck by turning the truck sideways and scooping sand into it. Obviously, that wasn't a success, so, being the smart cookie that he is, he found other means, like filling up the smaller wheelbarrow first and THEN filling up the big truck.

Do you see what he used to fill up the wheelbarrow? That's right - the back of a traffic sign!
I was really impressed! What a smart little problem solver!
Another one of our many favorite things about Listos is this clear tubing that kids can drop fuzzballs into and watch them roll down. Marina is a huge fan.

I'm not really sure why I found it necessary to take the pictures from the opposite side of the fence, but whatever. Carly likes the tubes, too.
The sensory table has beans this week! They were so pretty.
Marina would fill up her measuring cup and pour them all out, but I kept missing the shot.
Do you see the fuzzy red and white splotches? Beans.
Cool photo - I found the macro, y'all; watch out.

Oh, hello, a copy. Well, Marina's still really cute in this picture.
