A quick funny story and some photos tomorrow, I promise.
We got Carly some yoga DVDs so she can "doin' thee yoga like Mommy." So far, she loves the program. It's geared toward little kids, so there are lots of animal poses and silly faces. She does the tree pose holding onto the coffee table because she's not quite old enough to balance on one leg. And you should hear her say "namaste" with her crooked little prayer hands. We'll have to get some video.
Anyway, this morning I went with a friend to a stroller sculpt workout down at the pier. We walked up and down a couple of crazy hills, then jogged a while and then went into the community center to do pushups and lunges, etc., with laps in between. Carly ran with us for a few laps and then she started getting upset as always when it came time for the pushups and things.
Instead of just letting her cry and work herself out for ten minutes like I usually do, I told her we were doing yoga and she could do it, too. So, she just got down on her hands and knees and bent her little elbows to "doin' thee yoga." It was so cute! Daddy will be so proud.
