I have a very sad picture of Carly crying at the airport, but I think today is emotional enough without all the dramatics. This photo was taken this morning when Carly went in to help me wake Daddy up.

It's very sad for us because she was actually aware that he was leaving. She cried for a long time and told me several times throughout the day that she was sad. We know she has no idea what "soon" means, but we told her over and over this morning that Daddy is coming home soon, and that he'll be home around Christmas, even though that probably doesn't mean very much to her right now, either.

We're all sad that these two weeks have passed, but we're so grateful to have had this time to together. AND! There are only fifteen weeks left! That's great!
