After naps and everything on Thursday, we took Carly out to the stables on base to see the pretty horses. We found out that she is old enough to go in the pony ring, but we got there an hour or so after the office was officially closed. But now we know!

This is a video of one of Carly's favorite waiting games. She likes to walk away and then run, yelling, back to me. It's really sweet!
"Hum ON, Mommy!"
Carly's favorite perch She's such a goofball - look at that silly face Carly had discovered that she could reach the branches by sitting way up high on Daddy's shoulders.Carly met Smoke first and they were both interested to meet one another. This is one of Carly and Daddy's favorite games...it's like the face game from last night where they turn away and come back with silly faces. Daddy games are the best!
I love how her arm is almost straight up to hold Daddy's hand.We don't know the correct terminology, but there was a great deal of neighing and stomping going on when a few owners arrived with food and goodies for the horses. Carly didn't quite know what to make of all the commotion. This guy was another one of Carly's favorites. I think his name is Stitch? He just stared at us for a few minutes. Then we stopped to watch some lessons taking place. Carly gave us the play-by-play: "Look, the horsie is a-runnin'" "Oh look, thee ladle-ee fall DOWN" "Ooh, the horsie poopin' on thee sand!"This picture isn't as cute as I thought! =) Sorry, Carly...but she was such a big girl standing on the fence all by herself just like Daddy. After we saw the horses, we went to Henry's for some yummy fruit and some veggies - it's just outside the back gate, which was totally convenient, plus we had all yucky fruit from Boney's last week, so we won't be headed there anytime soon - and Carly scored one of the carts with a car on the front! She was really excited about that, but I did spot the mini-carts by the front door, so we're looking forward to that adventure later on. =)
She is a BIT IN TO horses right now. She kept talking about them in the car the other day. "I see thee orses"! I'm not sure where she thought she saw them...
