Monday's Photos

We went out this morning to the pharmacy and the bank...this is Carly and her Grammy walking down the street toward the town. It's about three blocks away and it made a nice little walk.
Okay, and for my photo project? This is the bank my parents go to.
And this is my mom withdrawing some money from her account. Notice how her wallet is still under her arm and there is no ID out? That's because when she walked in they said "Oh, hi Jeri!" and she just told them how much money she wanted out and from which account. That would NEVER happen in California! When was the last time your teller remembered that you had family coming to visit?
Poppy. I loved the colors!
Some blue flowers...
Some purple and white flowers...these are things that would also never happen in my little corner of California because I'm really, really bad for flowers.
Miss Ruth next door found this little tractor and let Carly play on it. Carly's still trying to figure out the pedal situation.
So she thought she'd walk it.
But then! She saw the water and the tractor was forgotten.
Carly LOVES to splash-splash in her new fishie fimmin' suit!

I'm going hiking with my dad and some friends tomorrow and I'm so excited! I'll take a million pictures, of course, if I don't die of asphyxiation or dehydration before I get to the top of Mount Baldy where we're going. Seriously, there is no air here! When we took off from San Diego and the pilot said we could turn on approved electronic devices, we had reached an altitude of 10,000 feet....which is 500 feet BELOW Dillon. Crazy! And it is about twenty degrees warmer than in San Diego, but there's no humidity, so it's not too stifling. It's so wonderful and relaxing here! We love it.
