Today's Adventure

We headed out to Carlsbad to see the famous flower fields. They are SO pretty!

We went with our friend Kalyn and Paisley, and miss "Kay-nin" took lots of great photos for us!
I love, love, love this photo! It's Marina running toward the chickens. All three of our little chickies! This is just the front part of the fields - it's this amazing garden...nothing like what we have at our house, so Carly was amazed to see that flowers do actually bloom! So pretty! This is a flower fountain!
I love this one, too!

Carly did NOT have a very fun time, though. I think it was because we didn't plan on going to the fields today and she was worried about her hair.

Okay, this is the behind-the-scenes look at all of these photos. I'd bribe the girls with cookies to keep them from trying to escape from the rows (where we weren't supposed to be anyway...) and then I'd hurdle the flowers to get out of the shot.
Until the tractor was coming down the row and we had to Get Out NOW!
....and then we went back in...we're not very good listeners.
This isn't a super picture of us, but these are beautiful flowers with the ocean right there! We live in paradise!
