My friends Maria and John Mahaffey welcomed their son Matthew Aaron on April 3 at 1:55pm...he weighs 8lb 12oz and is 20 inches long! Maria keeps saying she can't believe how SMALL he is! =) He came via c-section after TWO versions (where doctors manually turn the baby from the outside). So far, Maria's doing great but she's a tiny bit sore, understandably!!!
Baby Matthew is having a little bowel problem and is going to be transported to a higher-level NICU at the best children's hospital in the area to get it cleared up. We'll keep the Mahaffey family in our thoughts and prayers, especially since Carly and I are way on the opposite coast! We wish we could be there with you guys!!!
