The North Shore

This is on top of what is supposed to be the best vantage point on Oahu...but not on this day (I think it was Thursday, but I'm not sure)...the fog was insane. There is a huge mountain about two hundred yards away and it's completely hidden.
It looked like the Nothing.
Things cleared up a little when we went down on the north side of the island. The waves were CRAZY - I tried to get a good shot. Hopefully you can get an idea...they had calmed down a lot from the 40-foot swells in the morning.
This is what Carly sees every day....minus the rearview mirror
Daniel said all the best surfing is around where the water has something to break on...like a reef that could kill you. This is at a public beach - no surfers obviously - but it was still impressive.
Pretty sunset
