Not to brag or anything, but we have some really terrific friends. From the people who left messages on my home answering machine or email this morning to the ones who set alarms to call around the time they knew I'd be leaving the airport to the one crazy friend who rushed home from taking her baby to an emergency doctor's appointment just to call me back to see if I was okay - we're really lucky. I know most of you guys check this blog and you know who you are. Thanks for being awesome.
We went straight from LA to Jennifer-Lynn and Alanna's house to hang out - with a stop at Starbuck's of course - and the girls had a great time together!
Carly: Come on and open the door already; what's the problem?
JL and I have decided that whichever child psychology expert said that children don't do anything but parallel play until they're about three is just wrong. Either that or our girls are geniuses, which is entirely possible.
They were so funny! They'd open the door and both say, "Hi!" then shut it again!
I'm such a mean mom. But at least it's a bad picture of me, too!
