We had such a fun Halloween this year! We were really busy (surprise!) but we had such a good time. The day started with a little party with some of our friends.
Carly helped me make a spooky haunted gingerbread house, but it crashed on the way!
Here's Carly all dressed up in her bumblebee suit, looking a little unsure about her snack. It's a marhmallow Peep in the shape of a ghost!
This is the only clear photo I have of any of the other kids' costumes. They were all so cute! We had two ladybugs, Carly's bee, a Heffalump (that one was out of control!) and then adorable little Liam as a billy goat! Isn't he awesome?!
Still munching the ghost...but now with her hat on. Her little antennae were so cute and floppy!
"Where's the bee, Carly?"
This was not among our better ideas for the day. Liam and Molly are NOT happy about Patrick (the Heffalump butt) deciding to crawl over them to get off the couch.
Alanna's face!!!

Then Carly decided she'd see what it was like to be a ladybug! You know she loves the accessories, so this bouncy headband was perfect! In this picture, she's looking at herself in the reflection of the oven door and saying "piddeeeee" which is Carly for "pretty!"
And then she took the wings!
This is our big pumpkin - it took forever, but it turned out really well!
And this is the Carly pumpkin...the photo is a tad shaky, but if you look really carefully to the bottom left part of the smile, you'll see a dimple just like Carly's!
So we only went Trick-or-Treating for about twenty minutes because our little bumblebee gets worn out fast when her mouth hurts. She got a huge kick out of taking the candy from the bowl...but then she'd put it back in and clap and dance for herself for cleaning up. She's so funny!
