A few of my favorite babies

A few days ago, my friends Beth and Jennifer-Lynn decided to go to a winery in Temecula...so Carly and I decided that it would be more fun for everyone involved if Liam and Alanna hung out at our house instead of the boring old winery. Turns out we were right! We had a blast with those two, and were happy to see Jack and Heather while their mom went to go pick up her car...and were thrilled when Molly brought her mom over. We were missing Patrick, but he was busy today.

Here's Carly getting ready for her friends...first thing in the morning accomplishing her very favorite chore - removing all the books from the bookshelf.
Alanna is soooo smart! She said "Carly" twice today and in this photo, she's putting Carly's stacking fish together in order.
Liam!!! Isn't he the cutest little boy??? We call him Don Juan becuase he loves the ladies, and just look at him! With his great big eyes and oh-so-expressive eyebrows. He's a great kid, too. This was his very first time being watched by someone not in his family.
Some more of Liam. We had a little one-on-one time when the girls went down about an hour before his nap. He decided that he'd just crawl under the Exersaucer instead of crawling all the way around to get to the part that plays the songs and animal noises.
See? Carly really likes it better when the books are on the floor.
This picture didn't turn out well, but Alanna was so funny with the DVDs. First, she pointed at each section and chattered to us..."blagga-glaggle-gluggy"...then she laid them all out in three stacks on the dining room table. Carly was trying to get her to stop because she knows messing with the DVDs means lots of trouble. Here is Carly picking up the first couple of DVDs getting ready to try and put them back and yelling at Alanna, after that, Carly just walked away from the trouble.
Molly's "oh yeah?" face....while she's doing her favorite hobby of wrinkling and eating glossy paper.
Carly and Heather. Check out my girl's cute tummy.
Me (aka a Youngish Mother Hubbard) with Alanna, Carly, Molly and a sleeping Jack's feet. Today was INSANE, but it was so fun to have all our friends hanging out with us!

Of course this is type A saying Mother Hubbard went to the cupboard to get her poor dog a bone. I am thinking this picture is more like the little old lady who lived in the shoe. Guess you were ready for a nap when the day was done!
