This is the staging area - we were up on a hill overlooking the beach where they swam. All of the bikes are set up for the transition and Paul's group is lined up on the beach (look at the little black specks right above the blue porta-potties).
Paul in his first transition - He's standing right next to another guy right in the middle of the frame.
Paul leaving the transition area - he's wearing blue and yellow...it's kind of like Where's Waldo! Haha - we were really far away and this is as clearly as I could zoom.
Paul beginning his the bike portion - I yelled really loud for him RIGHT after this photo was taken, but he was in the zone and didn't hear me. Doesn't he look great?
Paul on his first lap of running! He passed right by here on his bike, but I was so excited to see him, I didn't get a photo in time. 
Crossing the finish line! His actual time was 1:43:44. He was in the third wave of the swim, so his race time began ten minutes after the clock started.
What a clever name for the race series!
