One week later - she was still so tiny! But learning how to focus on voices she knew.
At two months - her sunny personality is already shining through!
The day Daddy had to go to long work. Aren't they sweet? This looks a lot like the picture of them when he came home seven months later.
Carly hanging outwith her Auntie Lisa on New Year's Eve.
In January, she could sit up pretty well and had figured out how to take off her own socks - she loved checking them out.
Carly's first experience with frozen peaches and blackberries in the chompy thing. She loved it so much - but Mommy always used a bib after this catastrophe!
Carly in our New House! The tape is still on the walls because we had just painted that day! This is Carly's first time in her high chair from Mom-Mom and Grandpop's house.
Welcome Home, Daddy! It took about twelve hours for her to get used to having someone really tall in the house - now they're inseparable. And how awesome does he look in this picture! Seriously!!
Carly at ten months with Great-Grandpop Matkowsky
Carly swinging like a spider with her sweet friend Paisley Reese ~ we started going to these meetups at the end of May and Carly loves her new friends. (Mommy does, too!)
And this is Carly on her birthday! She's such a big girl now - growing so fast and so smart and she's totally captured us. It's amazing how much one little family can pack into a year! In a way, we're all three of us turning one year old because our lives are completely upside down from where we were before we knew she'd be joining us. But we wouldn't have it any other way, and we're so looking forward to what next year, and the years following, have in store for us!
