Carly has changed her mind about four thousand times when it comes to what she wants to be for Halloween. First it was a dinosaur, then a monster scary enough to scare the boys, then sunshine, then a spider, then a rainbow, then a scary jellyfish...so I quit asking her open-ended questions and let her choose between Little Red Riding Hood and a pirate, knowing she would choose the pirate.

What I didn't know was that as soon as she saw this costume, she'd give me a list of the necessary accessories. It took her about five minutes to describe the eye patch she needs, and then she says, "And Mommy you can buy me the big boat for me to go in when I'm a pirate?" I told her I don't really know where I could get a pirate boat and she says "Just go to Target, Mommy. And can you buy me the water for the boat to go in? It will be so fun! Just give the lady the money and you can buy it and then I can be a pirate ARGGG!"

Joseph wants to be a Jedi with a REAL light saber. That cuts off body parts. Like arms. And legs. And heads.

I took Ashley to the Halloween Express store and she decided that she wants to be little red riding hood. Not sure what Lauren's going to be yet, something snugly and warm, maybe a pumpkin or some kind of animal.
Just go to Target...duh! :) So funny!!! :) Super cute costume too!
It is funny how little kids think. When I was little I use to think that you didn't actually spend MONEY when you wrote a check...so when my mom would say she didn't have money, I would say, "well, then just write a check." - HA!! :)
