Here He Comes

Hi! We're fine; we just wanted to give a little update right now because our power has already flickered a couple of times and we're not expecting to have access to our internet tomorrow. It's a little weird to think that the rain and wind we have outside right now is connected to a giant storm that's still in the middle of the Gulf!

Don't worry - my ghost writer will be back to update if we have anything interesting to report. Mostly, it will be lots of crazy wind and a ton of rain and all of us trying not to go absolutely nuts being locked in the house for three days until the storm dies down or moves on.

While Bree and I slept the afternoon away (literally - it was great!) Paul and Carly put Herbie the Car in the garage, and took all of the furniture and decorations off the porches. So now we're going to just hang out and see what happens. Let's cross our fingers for the electricity holding out, though - we like our AC. =)
